Call for Volunteers - Macon County Community Investment
January 25, 2018 | by uwdecatur
We are currently seeking volunteers to sit on our Funds Distribution Panel this spring. Volunteer panel members have an important job: deciding which programs receive United Way funding.
Volunteers will spend 30+ hours doing in-depth research on programs that request funding. Research includes reviewing program budgets/fiscal records, making site visits, and, most importantly, seeking measurable outcomes to ensure each dollar being invested will be used to its fullest potential and will provide the greatest community return on investment.
Anyone who lives or works in Macon County and invests in United Way is invited to sit on the panel this spring. Interested? We'd love your help!
