Welcome United Way Cabinet Member!
Thank you for playing such an important role in the success of the 2010 United Way Campaign. We are so excited to have you.
So, now, what exactly does a Cabinet Member do?
Plan, Call, Ask, Assist
As a Cabinet Member, you will be responsible for helping United Way reach our financial goals by analyzing your assigned list of businesses and organizations, making a strategy based on that analysis, reaching out to ask for a CEO meeting to secure a corporate gift and employee campaign. If the company agrees to a employee giving campaign, you will meet with a company's Employee Campaign Manager (ECM) to help them plan and execute an employee giving campaign. And then they take care of the rest!
We know this is hard work, but always remember one business at a time, you are helping United Way raise money that is going to strengthen the building blocks for a good life: Education, Income and Health. Your time translates to a better place for us all to live, work and play! Thank you so much!
For questions or if you need anything at all, please contact United Way at 422-8537. Our staff members will do everything possible to assist you.
